Stepmothers

The Stepmothers were from Claremont and had 3 releases on Posh Boy, along with an appearance on the Rodney On The ROQ vol. 2 compilation. They were one of the first I.E. punk bands to use the phrase Inland Empire (in reference to where they were from) and also had a song "Inland Empire" on their You Were Never My Age LP, which was released in 1981. The band had a revolving door of members, including Lita Ford (ex-Runaways).

Loved the stepmothers back in the day. In fact, was just spinning them into the next modcast coming up this weekend at mistersuave.com. Great blog. Cheers
